Travel Opportunities: Day Trips and Overnight Excursions
Getting Ready for a Fabulous CSA Overnight Excursion in 1965
CSA recognizes the importance of afordable travel as an integral part of an academic summer abroad and sponsors various optional day trips and overnight excursions. Prices are substantially lower than the cost of commercial travel. A detailed sign-up sheet will be sent to participants with one of the pre-departure CSA Bulletins in the Spring of 2010. All day trips & overnight excursions are available on a course requirement and frst-come, frst-served basis and participants are encouraged to register for them as early as possible
to ensure their space. Participation on the Bavarian Overnight Excursion featuring attendance to the world famous Oberammergau Passion Play is limited, those who desire space on this trip should call the CSA Ofce immediately.
Day trips & overnight excursions are a wonderful way to experience and indulge in a complete summer of travel & sightseeing and include:
- Double, Triple or Quad Room Accommodations in
Selected Hotels (for weekend excursions), - Round-trip Private Motorcoach or Reserved Group Seating
on Train as described, - Sight-seeing and Full City tours at all sites visited as described,
- All breakfasts and 1 dinner on weekend trips,
- All trips escorted by CSA Staf Member(s).
Excursions can be paid for by check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or DiscoverCard). Rates, dates & itineraries listed are subject to minor changes. Although rare, CSA reserves the right to cancel any optional travel if trip has less than 10 participants.
